Hold tight Charlie and the Chocolate Factory fans. A new TV series adaptation is on the way!
Netflix have recently bought all of the late Roald Dahl's works. That includes James and the Giant Peach, Fantastic Mr. Fox and The BFG.

It is said to be Netflix's biggest content deal yet. So far, his works have been translated into 63 languages around the world with 300 million copies of his books being sold too.
The Chocolate Factory book has already being adapted for the silver screen by Taika Waititi. A film adaptation of Mathilda The Musical is also being produced by Netflix.
Emma Thompson is reportedly taking on the role of evil headmistress Miss Trunchbull. Meanwhile, Lashana Lynch will play the sweet Ms. Honey.
With all these new works on the way, Netflix is set to be full of nostalgia for us from 2022.
