This is so heartwarming

A Donegal man was surprised with a random act of kindess after he got on bus.

Kieron Clarke from Ramelton was taking the Bus Eireann bus from Letterkenny to Derry when he found an envelope that said "Stranger on the bus...OPEN ME"

He found a hand written Christmas card from 12-year-old Kayleigh from Sligo.

Kayleigh left the card on the bus while she was on board for her journey to school.

Inside the card she wrote:

"Hello Stranger, I just want to Merry Christmas and if things aren't great things will get better eventually"

she continues to say:

"A message from a fellow bus rider. You are loved. I love you"

Kieron posted images of the card on his Instagram saying:

"As I got off the @bus_eireann , 64 service bus from Letterkenny to Derry at 9:30 yesterday morning, I found this envelope lying on top of the toilet block as I walked down the aisle, sceptical at first, I opened it as I got off and to my surprise found this lovely message inside from 12 year old, Kayleigh who had previously been on the bus on her way to school.

In a world where you can be anything, be more like Kayleigh, especially this Christmas. I certainly will.

Merry Christmas Kayleigh!"
