According to a survey of 1,000 people, three quarters of adults admit to always forming an opinion of other people houses.

Spotting crumbs on the floor, dirty windows and experiencing "funny" smells are among the first things people notice upon entering someone's home.

So grab the hoover, get out the window cleaner, light a scented candle and get scrubbing!
