Miracle on 34th street is a family favourite for a reason. It follows the tale of Kris Kringle trying to prove he is the real Santa Claus. A perfect movie to get all the Christmas feels going.
Love Actually
You either love it or hate it but Love Actually is a solid easy-watch at this time of year. It follows eight London couples from various backgrounds as they try to deal with their relationships in different ways. A heads up if you haven't seen this one before - it's best watched with your mates or significant other because there is the odd awkward sex scene.
The Santa Clause
This is one that'll take you right back to your childhood. Tim Allen's character Scott unintentionally becomes the new Santa Clause, and has to hide his big secret from his loved ones. He gets to grips with the workings of the North Pole with some hilarious mishaps along the way. This is one that you can easily watch with the kids or your nieces and nephews.
Home Alone
Sure we couldn't not have Home Alone on the list? Little Kevin sleeps in and misses on a family holiday to Paris leaving him minding the house by himself. At first, he's happy to have the run of the place but chaos soon begins as two thieves try and break in. The second installment of this franchise, Home Alone 2 is also a great watch!
