And that is an important day, right?
Well, according to a new study, people not only think it's important people like their partner, but they also want people to find them impressive.
Seeking.com commissioned the research, where 2,000 single people were surveyed.
It found that nearly two-thirds feel it is important that their friends and family are impressed with the person they're dating.
According to SWNS Digital, six in 10 singletons want to ‘date up’ when it comes to love.
70 per cent believe getting into a relationship with someone who is doing well in life will improve their own.
While 72 per cent felt they had settled for second best in previous relationships, but now reckon they could do better.
45 per cent say their ex-partner didn’t treat them well enough, and 37 per cent just want the best for themselves.
The study also found the top things people look for in a potential partner:

- A great sense of humour
- Good communicator
- Great manners
- Nice family
- Loves travelling
- A good job
- Dreams big
- Incredibly good looking
- Doesn’t have any kids
- A great physique
- Doesn’t want children
- Wealthy
- Who cares about how they look
- Exercises frequently
- Owns their own property
- Likes the finer things in life
- An expensive car
