Disney has released their Christmas ad for 2022

Their ad is called 'The Gift'.

Disney are first out of the blocks to release their Christmas ad.

Their ad called 'The Gift' tells the story of a young girl meeting her baby sibling for the very first time.

Little Ella is disappointed when her pregnant mum can't ice skate. When Ella's mum arrives home with a new sibling, Ella gives the baby her glow in the dark Mickey Mouse soft toy as a gift.

This story is the third instalment in Disney's 'From Our Family To Yours' Christmas ads.

Their 2021 ad, 'The Stepdad' saw Mike move into his partner Nicole's family home with her children Ella and Max. In the first installment in 2020, their ad saw a Mickey Mouse toy being gifted to Lola by her father in 1940. Lola is Nicole's grandmother in the modern day (we know, it's hard to keep up with them all).

This final part, 'The Gift' was released on TV, Disney+ and YouTube on Wednesday in partnership with children’s charity Make-A-Wish.
