Have you ever visited a Disney theme park and never wanted to leave?
Well this could be for you.
The company have announced "Storyliving" - a series of meticulously planned communities for residential living, designed and run by Disney staff and featuring the same pristine tranquility you'll find in any of it's resorts.
The first development, named Cotino, will be spread over 618 acres outside the city of Rancho Mirage in California’s Coachella Valley.
“Picture an energetic community with the warmth and charm of a small town and the beauty of a resort” Disney Executive Helen Pak explained in a video.
If the promotional images are anything to go by, it's going to be a pretty special place.
It won't just be residential homes either, shops and a 400 room beachfront hotel are part of the plans, along with a 24-acre lagoon which is open to the public to swim in.
And while it won't be an all out theme park, a Disney statement said:
"These master-planned communities are intended to inspire residents to foster new friendships, pursue their interests and write the next exciting chapter in their lives — all while enjoying the attention to detail, unique amenities and special touches that are Disney hallmarks."
