Mind your pups.
An animal charity has issued a stark warning to dog owners this Easter weekend to keep them away from chocolate, hot cross buns, and even daffodils.

Dogs Trust Ireland says even a small piece of chocolate could be fatal to dogs.
Spokesperson Corina Fitzsimons says that dogs are incapable of breaking down chocolate, which can cause toxicity.
She says other Easter foods and flowers can pose dangers for dogs.
"If a dog consumes a daffodil flower or a bulb or even drinks the water from the vase, this can have a similar effect as eating chocolate," she said.
"The same can be said for hot cross buns, and ingesting even a small amount of raisins can lead to kidney failure," she added.
The dog welfare charity has been giving advice across its social media and their website (here).
Prevention is always the best option, so keep the eggs and other goodies out of reach of sneaky snackers, but know the signs of chocolate poisoning too: https://t.co/EylQgActXr#Easter #EasterEggs pic.twitter.com/FZI6YsDA0y

They say, "always call the vet if you think your dog has eaten anything they shouldn't".
Avoid hopping to the vet by making sure your pup keeps their paws off the #Easter goodies! ??
Chocolate, Hot-Cross buns and daffodils are all toxic to dogs, so keep them well away from curious canines!
