As a residents meeting pledged to locals that the high number of gigs planned for next year will be an exception.
Whatever about anywhere else, one place Garth Brooks will want friends is Croke Park.
After the debacle of 2014, when the country music superstar had five concerts cancelled, he’s now hoping to play the same number at the venue next year.

A meeting of over 100 residents was told last night that all five gigs do look set to go ahead.
Some weren’t happy, but others think the shows will be a major boost for the area.
Croke Park bosses have promised the seven concerts scheduled next year - two with Ed Sheeran in addition to the five with Brooks - are a one off for 2022, and won’t be repeated in future years.
