Thursday is the new Friday when it comes to how people spend their working week.

Working from the office is continuing to decline on Fridays, according to a new survey from Dublin Chamber of Commerce and Savills.

The research has found that 26% of firms require office workers to come in on “core” days.

Core days are considered to be Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays.

The survey consisted of over 320 companies and found that Thursday is the day when the most staff come in.

It found that 55% of firms require staff to travel to the office at least two or three days a week.

The research found that office usage remains at it's lowest on Mondays and Fridays.

Friday is the least busiest day in the office as 26% of firms surveyed said almost nobody comes in on a Friday.
