You can put away the comfy tracksuit bottoms and runners, because high heels are back with a bang.
According to the Irish Daily Mail, demand for heels, typically four inches high, is soaring to a ten year record, as more women return to the office and ditch their loungewear.
Not only that, but the return of nights out and events that actually call for getting dressed up and going further than the living room have seen people dust off those dusty heels and re-train themselves to walk without resembling a newborn gazelle.
Designer Kurt Geiger says sales of heels have overtaken runners for the first time in four years, with women buying even higher heels now, with an 8 millimetre increase in average heel height.
