Can you believe the original Home Alone came out 31 years ago!?
After three movies, it's fair to say the series was left as it was, confined to the cinema history books to be wheeled out every winter for a few re-watches.

But now a reboot of the cult Christmas classic is being released on November the 12th.
Home Sweet Home Alone will be available on Disney plus this winter.
We don't have a trailer yet but the upcoming installment stars comedians Aisling Bea and Rob Delaney.
Devin Ratray, who played Buzz McCallister in the original franchise, will also make a return.
How will it be received? Only time will tell.
What we do know is that people can be very sensitive about their classic films so watch this space.
