1. Italian hot chocolate

This Italian hot chocolate is made with rich dark chocolate, making it stand out amongst the regular chocolate powder ones.

RECIPE (2 servings) ??????????? * 1 1/2 cup whole milk (350 ml), Divided * 1 tbsp (8 g) Corn starch/corn flour * 1 tbsp (6 g) Unsweetened Cocoa powder * A pinch of salt * 1/4 tsp vanilla extract * 80 g dark chocolate + milk chocolate (40g dark chocolate (54%) + 40g milk chocolate), Approximately 1/2 cup + 1 tbsp of total chocolate) * 2 tbsp - 2 1/2 tbsp Sugar (25g - 31g) * 125 ml (1/2 cup) Whipping cream, cold * 1 tbsp icing sugar * Chocolate shavings ?????????? 1. In a chilled bowl, whip cold whipping cream + icing sugar together until stiff peaks form. Cover and keep in the fridge. 2. Chop both of the chocolates into small pieces. Set aside. 3. In a small bowl, mix 1 tbsp corn starch and 1/4 cup of milk, set aside. 4. In a small saucepan, add 1 1/4 cup milk + sifted cocoa powder + sugar and whisk together. (I added 2 tbsp sugar here, you can add more if you want the chocolate sweeter). 5. Heat the mixture over medium-low heat, whisking often to avoid lumps. Bring the mixture to a simmer, reduce the heat and add the corn flour mixture, whisk continuously until well combined and drink has thickened(for about 2-3 minutes). 6. Add a pinch of salt + vanilla extract (optional) 7. Turn off the heat and stir in the chopped chocolate,whisk it until the chocolate is completely dissolved and you get a smooth, silky and thick hot chocolate. 8.
