If you're one of those insta users that promotes new grid posts on your story, you may be in for some disappointment.
Instagram is looking at removing profile posts from stories.
Many users will promote a picture on their feed by also posting it on their stories to drive extra traffic to their page.
But the app has started testing a limitation on Stories which prevents users from linking to posts on their grid.
For the moment, they are only tests, so it's not clear if and when we'll be seeing the new restrictions on our own accounts in future.
One thing's for sure - people aren't that happy about it, and petitions have already surfaced online calling for the plan to be cancelled.
