It's peak time now for the Christmas decorations, with more and more trees appearing around the country.

When you put up decorations is totally up to you - as well as where you put them up.

A lot of people may focus all the Christmas cheer on the sitting room and hallway.

While others will dot some decorations in bedrooms.

But how many of us spruce up the bathroom?

After all, why should you not feel Christmassy while peeing or brushing your teeth?

Well, some people believe you should, as a recent survey found that 23 percent of people actually do give their bathrooms some Christmas decor.

Meanwhile, a fifth of people said they decorate every room.

So, what are people putting in their bathrooms?

Well, people are using fairy lights, ornaments, little trees, wreaths, tinsel, stockings and seasonal towels and bathmats.

Although other things like festive teddies, reindeer and Elf on the Shelf have made their way into bathrooms.

Out of the 2,000 UK participants, eight in 10 are inspired by the idea of making a trip to the loo more fun this time of year.

Inspired by the survey,  shower manufacturer Triton is even looking for the most festive bathroom in a competition, called Deck the Stalls.
