Love Island star Jacques O’Neill says show was the 'worst decision of his life'

Former Love Island star Jacques O'Neill says appearing on the show was "the worst decision" of his life.

The 23-year-old's told the Sun, producers pressed him to carry on before he decided to leave.

In an interview, he said he “couldn’t cope” in the TV villa and that he was ready to "break down."

Since leaving the Majorca villa, Jacques spoke of his mental health struggles with ADHD (attention deficit hyperactivity disorder).

O' Neill left the villa last week, after telling his fellow contestants he felt he wasn't being his usual self.

The programme insists it takes its duty of care for those appearing "extremely seriously".
