iRadio have moved to Mayo!

And we're having a blast exploring all the county has to offer.

So much so, that we think everyone should take a trip to Mayo.

Or even better, Move to Mayo!

If you do,  you could get a huge boost to set you on your way!

Mayo County Council, in partnership with the Halo Business Angel Network, is offering €10,000 to a business big or small that comes to Mayo with their business or to set up a business.

With is beautiful scenery, bustling towns and friendly people, we think its definitely worth considering!

If you do plan a trip to Mayo, we're here to help!

Here's some of the best things to do with the family while visiting the county...

#1 - Westport House & Pirate Adventure Park

Bring the walking shoes and explore the 430 acres of land at Westport House, surrounded by stunning views such as Croagh Patrick.

And then why not take a peep inside the historic building?

All ages will enjoy the 30 different rooms, and delve into the treasures and stories each brings.

If you have stopped off at Westport House, why not make a full day of it?

On the grounds there's the Pirate Adventure Park, one of the top family attractions in the west!

Bundles of  activities to get stuck into like the Mini Zipline, Vortex Tunnel, the Cannonball Run slide or the Pirates Plunge log flume ride, as well as indoor soft play, playgrounds, and Go Karting.

#2 - Mount Falcon Hotel

A truly unique activity.

Some of our iRadio gang visited Mount Falcon Hotel recently, and it looked amazing!

Louise, Ciaran and Mícheál had a blast and said it was an unforgettable experience!

It's something a little different, and only for the brave!

There's also a Hollywood-actor-approved golf course, and lots of other things to do!

#3 - Croagh Patrick

How could you be so close to the famous mountain and not give it a go?

Challenge the family to get to the top and enjoy stunning views from the peak.

At the top of the 764m peak lies the quaint St Patrick's Chapel.

The main view you'll see is of Clew Bay, which boasts some incredible beaches, also worth a visit!

#4 - Cycle the Great Western Greenway

This trail is ideal for a peaceful and scenic day out with the family.

As the longest off-road cycling and walking trail in Ireland, you'll feel totally at ease having the full family come along.

Hire your bikes out if you didn't bring them along, as local bike hire companies have shuttle bus services to start you off where you like!

The 42km stretch is almost fully flat and entirely traffic-free so take it as your own pace!

#5 - Visit Achill Island

Recently the iRadio gang spent 2 days enjoying Achill Island, and they were so buzzing about it we just had to recommend it here!

They set up camp in their campervan, and were kept busy the whole time!

From cycling to surfing, the gang were never bored.

And they also enjoyed plenty of local cuisine; all types of food on offer so there's something for everyone!

That's our top 5, but the list goes on!
