Where's my passport?

While living here becomes more expensive, an island in Italy is offering people over €15,000 to live there!
The island of Sardinia is offering the grant to people who want to create a new life for themselves.
But with everything, there comes a catch!
The cash incentive is being offered to newcomers to buy or renovate a property on the island and the amount of the grant can not be more than half the price or renovating or buying the home.
In addition to this, the property must be in a town with a population of under 3,000 people.
And if that wasn't all - you're expected to register your residence in Sardinia within 18 months of your arrival.
In a statement, the European Commission said: "The DL 50/2022 law allows migrant workers to apply for the bonus, as long as they were residing in Italy before July 1 2022, and all income requirements are met."
So what do you reckon? Is it worth the caveat?
