Laois Pride is back for a second year, and there are week of events planned from the 4th to 10th of September.
It's encouraging everyone to come out and show up for their LGBT+ friends and family this year in what is sure to be another incredible week of entertainment.

And helping to lead the proceedings as Grand Marshall for the Pride Parade, is Glow Up star and Laois native James Mac Inerney!
The Parade
The Pride Parade and Festival in Portlaoise takes place on Saturday the 9th.
The parade this year will leave from Fitzmaurice place (just off mainstreet) in Portlaoise at 12pm and make its way around the town finishing in Portlaoise Leisure Centre.
Celebrations will continue from 1-5pm with bands, DJs, drag queen bingo and special guests.
The afterparty is back in Kavanaghs on Portlaoise Main Street.
