Mam, Mammy, Mum or Ma - how do you refer to your mother?

Mother's day is fast approaching and we wanna know how what you call her!

"Mam" is the most common way of referring to your mother in Ireland.

A new survey by Beko found 3 in 10 adults call their mother "Mam", 23 percent prefer ‘Mum’, while 12 percent respectively say ‘Mom’ and ‘Mammy’.

The figures also show regional trends, with over half of people in Ulster saying "mum" and 14 percent in Dublin using "Ma".

Mam remains the most popular in Munster at 38%, Connacht 31%, and Leinster 28%.
