Here's what's new to Amazon Prime in May

The evenings may be getting longer but so too is our list of must-watch TV series and movies.

If you're looking for your next binge watch, Amazon Prime has announced what to look forward to on the service from the month of May.

Music lovers will be delighted to get stuck into the new documentary about pop superstar P!NK. Meanwhile for football fans, there's a new in-depth look at the life of Sir Alex Ferguson and the stories he has to tell both on and off the field.

Here's the full list of what's new to Amazon Prime in May:

P!NK: All I Know So Far – May 21st

This doc follows P!NK as she embarks on her record-breaking 2019 “Beautiful Trauma” world tour. The tour included her sold-out gig at the RDS in Dublin and this film will show the superstar try balance being a mom, a wife, a boss and a performer. It has a mix of footage from the road, behind-the-scenes interviews and personal material and gives a glimpse behind the curtain of her life.

Sir Alex Ferguson: Never Give In – May 29th

Recovering from a life-threatening brain haemorrhage and aware that his memory might desert him, Alex Ferguson begins to recount the most important stories of his life, both in and out of football, to his son Jason. The iconic football manager shares stories of growing-up and family, alongside sporting triumph and failure.

It includes exclusive and previously unseen archive footage as well as moving testimonies from his wife and three sons. The doc will cover everything from his working-class roots in Glasgow to his career as one of the greatest football managers of all time.

The Underground Railroad – May 14th

This 10-episode limited series is based on the Pulitzer Prize-winning novel by Colson Whitehead. The Underground Railroad chronicles Cora Randall’s desperate bid for freedom. After escaping a Georgia plantation for the rumored Underground Railroad, Cora discovers no mere metaphor, but an actual railroad full of engineers and conductors, and a secret network of tracks and tunnels. Over the course of her journey, Cora is pursued by Ridgeway, a bounty hunter who's fixated on bringing her back to the plantation.

Solos – May 21st

This highly anticipated series has a stellar cast including Morgan Freeman, Anne Hathaway, Helen Mirren, Uzo Aduba and Constance Wu. The seven-part series explores the strange, beautiful, heart-breaking, hilarious, wondrous truths of what it means to be human. It spans our present and future and illuminates that even during our most isolated moments we are all connected through the human experience.

Panic Season 1 – May 28th

Panic is a new one-hour drama series, written and created by Lauren Oliver and based on her bestselling novel. It takes place in a small Texas town, where every summer the graduating seniors compete in a series of challenges. It's winner takes all, which the seniors believe is their one and only chance to make their lives better. But this year, the rules have changed. The pot of money is larger than ever, and the game has become even more dangerous.
