Nearly three in five people are considering a new job this year.
A study by Linkedin says demand for higher wages remains the biggest motivator.
Sharon McCooey works with the business and employment-focused platform.
She says jobs are available and people should have confidence about landing a new one;
"It's very much about and people want to move for pay increases while also wanting to retain flexibility. They want to see learning and development and career opportunities."
"We also see that it's very much around Gen-Z - 71% of those are looking to move during 2023".
Sharron also says although hiring may have slowed down, people shouldn't worry:
"We do this research every year and we saw a similar statistic this time last year and it actually transpired during the course of 2022."
"So I think people make changes over the course of New Years Resolutions and they've decided to move on with their career in 2023."
