It was intense.
So, usually the night after the Oscars, the headlines are full of who the big winners were.
But not 2022 - instead we have Will Smith trending, and not for his best actor win.
Before the actor won his first Oscar, he let his anger get the better of him in a shocking moment.
As comedian Chris Rock is on stage, he takes a jab at Will Smith's wife, and here's how it went down (uncensored version):

If you were watching live, or even saw the headlines, you probably thought it was a stunt, but Will's reaction says otherwise.
In his acceptance speech, as he goes on to win best actor for his role in King Richard, he his clearly shaky and emotional.

Of course, the internet has been reacting, and one person seems to have collected pics of some of the biggest celebrity attendees:

There's been condemnation of the incident from a range of people, including actress Sophia Bush:
Violence isn’t ok. Assault is never the answer. Also? This is the 2nd time that Chris has made fun of Jada on the #Oscars stage, & tonight he went after her alopecia. Punching down at someone’s auto-immune disease is wrong. Doing so on purpose is cruel. They both need a breather.

Meanwhile, there was one win for Kenneth Brannagh's Belfast, as it picked up the Oscar for Best Original Screenplay.
The big winner on the night was Dune, winning six out of ten of the awards it was nominated for.
