The manager of a business across the water is being classed as a "legend" after he informed all of his employees that he was going to be giving them a paid day off while the sun was scorching during the heatwave recently - so that a bbq and pool party could be had and enjoyed by all.
Pictures were taken of people chilling on top of inflatable pool toys, enjoying the hot weather, while also getting paid by their boss. The barbeque was lit with all kinds of food from burgers to hot dogs. The music was blaring out of the poolside speaker and no emails were being replied to.
Some people took to social media to praise the cop-on of the boss to let his employees enjoy the extreme temps.
"Your boss understands the assignment. What a legend. I would work twice as hard for a boss like that."
"Top boss, it makes no sense to have people work in this heat."
"Nah, your boss is a legend."
"That's a belting boss. Keep your staff happy and they stay loyal."
The boss man stated, "We made the decision at the end of last week when we knew it was going to be hot. We just thought we would treat the lads with a pool party and barbeque, give them a paid day off due to the inclement weather. We always try to treat the lads once or twice a year when we can."
Getting paid to sit by a pool and eat a bbq, it's not too much to ask, is it?
