So why should it be different when your new addition happens to be a bit fluffier?
It shouldn't and that's why a dog trainer has said pet owners should consider taking at least two or three days off work after they get a new puppy.
It follows a debate over whether companies should offer 'Pawternity' leave, where you're actually entitled to a few days, rather than taking them from your annual leave.
