Penneys is finally making steps into the digital world, but have stopped short of selling clothes online.
With stiff competition from online retailers like Shein, the company seem to have remained focused on in-store sales.
The new website, which has launched in Primark in the UK, allows customers to check stock levels at any of the outlet's locations, but to actually make a purchase, you'll still have to head into store.
The improved site is expected to go live in Ireland in the coming months.
The company says the site "better connects the journey between searching online and then shopping in store".
A spokesperson said:
"We know lots of customers would love to shop with us by Click & Collect. We don’t rule out offering this service as a possible option in the future, however the next digital step for us is to improve our customers’ experience with Primark by better connecting the journey from browsing online to shopping in-store."
