The South Korean company has created a sustainable solution with the 'Eco Remote Control'.

Samsung hopes that this technology will help reduce its waste and emission creation.

Although the remote may look similar to recent remotes from Samsung.

The solar panels located on the underside are the key selling point for the product.

These solar panels will charge the remote meaning no need for traditional batteries.

If you're worried about Ireland's lack of sun, there is also a USB-C port to charge quickly.

According to Ladbible, the device is made of 28% recycled polyethylene terephthalate.
