WHO KNEW?
According to a new study, more sleeping can lead to weight loss.
Obesity affects over 13 percent of the worlds total population.
Researchers studied 80 overweight young adults who normally get around 6 and a half hours sleep per night. 2 extra hours of sleep lowers a person's appetite by up to 270 calories per day and leads to an average of 26 pound loss over a three year period.
Dr. Esra Tasali who directs the Sleep Research Centre at the University of Chicago says "This is almost like a game changer for weight loss or weight maintenance."
