No more smelly nightclub
A nightclub has warned smelly patrons that they will be kicked out of the venue.
LGBTQ+ venue Tiny, in North Yorkshire, put the message on its Facebook page and said anyone who doesn't abide will be asked to leave.
Management believes staff and customers have the right to be in an environment "where they don't have to put up with the smell of your breath or bodily odours".
Bar staff will be "supported by management" in asking people to leave the venue, when someone's body odour is becoming a problem.
"C'mon guys," a post on the club's Facebook page reasons, "it's just decent innit".
The club's management said: "Please ensure good bodily hygiene when visiting Tiny.
They also said:
"If you are old enough to be drinking and visiting clubs and bars, you are old enough to be able to practice good personal hygiene.
"We all have an off-day every now and again where we forget to pop some spray on or whatever. Just ask at the bar,”
"We will try our best to find something to help, But if it becomes a habit.."
In a separate statement, a spokesperson for the club added:
"The post was meant in good humour, but it has started to annoy us all a little bit."
