You can wear the latest virtual pet on your wrist!

It might have been the bane of your life in 90's but it is now making a comeback with a face lift.

Tamagotchi is celebrating it's 25th anniversary this year with a brand new product.

The Tamagotchi Smart comes in two cool colors: Mint Blue and Coral Pink.

According to soranews24, there will also be a super-rare White version sold as part of a 25th Anniversary Set.

Although, the white version isn't cheap, you will have to fork out 7,480 yen (€57.19).

Each Tamagotchi has a microphone and a touch screen, two landmarks for these virtual pets.

The screen and mic allow for users to feel like they are touching and talking to their pet.

Pets can recall answers given to them and react accordingly.

The ten named Tamagotchi included in the Tamagotchi Smart are Mametchi, Poptchi, Awamokotchi, Kuchipatchi, Gaogaltchi, Pyueltchi, Wawatchi, Tuyopitchi, Milktchi, and Karapatchi.

It's release date is set for late November this year to coincide with the official Tamagotchi anniversary.

The estimated price for each Tamagotchi Smart is 6,380 yen (€48.78).
