The Covid crisis may have been an absolute scourge for the most part, but there's a lot to be said for wearing your favourite trackies and a hoody for your day at the virtual office.

And now that we're re-emerging into 'normal' life, it looks like those preferences are staying with us.

It would seem fewer people are buying neckties and thongs - and are instead opting for more comfortable clothes.

John Lewis says the pandemic's seen a shift in what items are popular among shoppers, with tents and trampolines seeing a huge boost over the past year.

The UK department store's also revealed it's no longer selling filing cabinets as the digital revolution catches up with shoppers.
