Between outfits, travel, accommodation and gifts, it can all add up.
A new survey found that almost a third of participants say they can't afford to accept invitations.
Research from Experian in the UK found the average cost of attending a wedding is €659 per person.
That's once travel and accommodation are also factored in.
Of the people surveyed, some respondents said they'd cut down on costs by staying up all night.
