With our phones often having our work email logged, it may feel like we can never really switch off.
But do we mind?
A recent survey found that actually a lot of us don't really mind being somewhat 'on-call' for work.
A US survey of 2,000 office employees looked at the pros and cons of always being available for work.
And it found that seven in 10 respondents admit they’re likely to answer after-hour work emails or messages.
It even revealed that 70 percent appreciate receiving work notifications at any hour of the day.
More than half of respondents have their work emails connected to a mobile phone or other personal device, according to studyfinds.org.
70 percent of respondents who work from home say it makes them feel like they have to be available at all hours of the day.
However, there are pros to modern technology, as 69 percent say that they’re able to answer emails faster than ever now.
