It seems summer is hanging in there!

We had a peep at the weather forecast when we heard a rumour that temperatures were supposed to stay relatively high for the start of next week.

And it has been revealed that the rumour has a fair bit of truth in it!

According to Met Éireann, temperatures are generally between 20-26 degrees from Monday-Wednesday.

Here's the full lowdown:

Monday

Very warm with good spells of sunshine in many areas.

Somewhat cloudier in the north, with some lingering rain or drizzle in Ulster, which will gradually die out.

Highest temperatures of 20 to 25 degrees.

Tuesday

Dry and very warm, with long spells of sunshine developing after morning mist and fog clear.

Highest temperatures of 22 to 26 degrees.

Wednesday

A fair amount of dry weather.

However, scattered showers will develop through the day, which will become heavier and more widespread through the evening and night.

Highest temperatures of 20 to 24 degrees.

We won't think about Thursday just yet....

Go enjoy the sun while you can!!
