
Over four hundred restaurant owners are threatening legal action against insurers after last week's High Court ruling against FBD.
The group has written to twelve insurance firms in Ireland and the UK demanding payments under insurance policies against business interruption because of the pandemic within seven days.
The Restaurant's Association of Ireland says its solicitors are reviewing over a hundred more policies to see if their holders could join the action too.
CEO of the lobby group is Adrian Cummins, he says it's time the insurance industry honoured their policies.
