With Met Éireann's Status Red weather warning for snow and ice still in place for Leinster, Munster and Galway until 6pm.
And a Status Orange warning in place in Cavan, Monaghan, Donegal, Leitrim, Mayo, Roscommon and Sligo also until 6pm.
It seems the blanket of white covering Ireland may be sticking around for the time being.
