No time limit but out by 11:30pm.

Draft guidelines for the re-opening of hospitality were published late last night by Fáilte Ireland.

The sector is set to re-open for indoor dining on Monday.

It's hoped the guidelines will be signed off by the government tomorrow.

If you want to dine indoors, you'll have to produce a Covid cert and photo ID before going in.

Pubs and restaurants will take names and contact details for contact tracing purposes, as usual.

Under 18s who are accompanied by a parent/guardian won't need proof of immunity but kids may be asked for photo ID to prove that they're under 18.

Bit mad that people now need to prove they're underage, right?!

There'll be no counter service and you'll have to wear a face mask if you leave your seat.

Tables will be restricted to groups of 6 with a distance of 2 metres between them and 1 metre between people seated at the tables.

The good news...

There's no time limit.

The bad news...

Places have to close by 11:30pm.

CEO of the Restaurants Assoication of Ireland Adrian Cummins says normal trading hours will have to be allowed as soon as possible.

"Normal trading hours would allow businesses the opportunity to have more income to support their business as we go through the next weeks and months ahead," he said.
