Met Éireann are predicting highs of 25 degrees for the next week.

Let's face it, the weather this summer so far has not been great.

And what has made it harder is that we keep getting promised better weather is ahead and it seems to let us down.

Having said that, we're still always going to let you know what Met Éireann are seeing.

Because even the chance of sunny weather is better than nothing...

Right?!

Anyways, here's the outlook for the next week (notice how the temperature gradually climbs each day):

Monday: Highs of 22 degrees

It'll be dry for most areas with spells of warm sunshine.

There's a chance of an isolated shower along southeastern coasts in the afternoon and evening.

Temperature range: 17-22 degrees.

Tuesday: Highs of 23 degrees

It's set to be a mostly dry and warm day with spells of hazy sunshine.

Cloud will build through the day in the midlands and there'll be a small chance of a light passing shower.

Temperature range: 20 to 23 degrees.

Wednesday: Highs of 24 degrees

It's to be a warm and dry summer's day with spells of sunshine.

A few light showers may break out during the day in the southwest.

Temperature range: 20 to 24 degrees.

Thursday: Highs of 25 degrees

Generally dry and warmer with good sunny spells.

Some cloud will build through the day, with the chance of a shower or two in the west towards evening.

Temperature range: 21 to 25 degrees.

And Friday: Highs of 25 degrees

Early indications show it's to be another warm and mostly dry start to the day.

But, cloud will increase from the southwest during the afternoon with rain extending across the country during the evening and overnight hours.

Temperature range: 19 to 25 degrees.

That's all folks!

Keep checking in on changes throughout the week, but we're hoping this holds through!
