Just over 81,000 Covid-19 vaccines were administered over the past week - lower than the target of 100,000.

The delay in delivery of the Astra Zeneca vaccine is one of the possible reasons for missing the target.

It's reported delays at AstraZeneca could affect the deliver of 25,000 doses in total between this week and last week.

The highest daily number was 18,300 given out on Thursday, while less than 2,500 were administered on Sunday.

In total 439,700 injections have taken place, with 141,000 being second doses.

The original goal for the vaccine roll-out was for 100,000 vaccines to be administered per week in March, rising to between 200,000 and 300,00 per week for April
