Study finds people who can make a good cup of tea are more attractive

New research has discovered that over a fifth of singletons think that excellent tea-making skills are a major turn-on.

Dating app Plenty of Fish surveyed 2,500 people on tea and dating.

69 per cent of participants said it's important to remember how your partner takes their tea.

While a huge number said making a bad brew could cost you a date.

Those surveyed admitted that if someone made them weak tea (37 per cent), put in too much sugar (17 per cent) or over-brewed their tea (13 per cent) it would turn them off.

Another 10 per cent revealed that putting in a milk substitute would be unacceptable, while 9 per cent said pouring in the milk before the water would be a dealbreaker.
