Russian Cows Over the 'Mooooooon' With VR Head Set
As was reported in this morning's news on the iRadio Breakfast Show - Aidan and Oonagh in the morning - cows in Russia are being provided with VR headsets that depict summer all year round.
It's in a bid to encourage milk production.
The Moscow agriculture ministry says the cows’ mood has improved and they expect the calm conditions to elevate the quality and quantity of milk.
Scientists have cited the calming effects of playing classical music to cows to improve milk production but the use of VR Headsets is certainly a first!
According to a report from The MosCOW Times "the developers plan to expand the VR experiment, it said, if observations continue to show positive results"
