Netflix has released the first official trailer for Nightflyers, a new sci-fi series which was filmed in Limerick.
The show is based on the novel by Game of Thrones author, George R. R. Martin.
It was filmed at Troy Studios in Limerick and stars Irish actors Eoin Macken and Brian F. O’Byrne, as well as Boardwalk Empire's Gretchen Mol and David Ajala who starred in Fast & Furious 6.
Nightflyers tells the story of eight scientists and a telepath, who embark on an expedition to the edge of our solar system, in the hope of making contact with alien life.
However, terrifying and violent events begin to take place and they start to question each other.
It will be available on Netflix in Ireland in early 2019.
