Watch Marley and Me and get paid? Yes, please.

When it comes to work, it really is the dream to get paid for doing something we enjoy and love.

Not many of us can say that, but one person in the US will get to do that.

One company is looking for someone to watch a bunch of movies where dogs have a starring role.

The job posting is down as 'Doggy Flicks' and was posted by Pettable.

There's six films on the list: Marley and Me, A Dog's Journey, Because of Winn-Dixie, Eight Below, Lady and the Tramp and The Call of the Wild.

That's about ten hours' worth of running time.

So that mean you're effectively getting paid $100 an hour to chill and enjoy top dog talent.

But the catch is, you'll need to watch all six films within 48 hours.

And then all you've to do is write a 1,000-word post for the Pettable blog, reviewing and ranking each of the movies.

The film list is interesting, with The Call of the Wild which came out in 2020, while the oldest on the list is 1955's Lady and the Tramp.

To apply for the job, you need to love pets, especially dogs, but there's no need for you to have a pet yourself.

As well as the $1K payment, the candidate will also get a movie rental card to access the films, and a "survival kit," worth $50 - we reckon that's for treats.

Unfortunately for us, it's only open to US applicants, but we're hoping some company here will see this and post up a similar job....
