Not everyone likes the chats it seems!

There's many different ways to communicate nowadays.

From Whatsapp, to Insta dms to zoom calls etc, we definitely won't run out of ways to get in touch with people.

But what about the traditional phone call?

Well, apparently it's slipping down the ranks in terms of go-to methods of communication.

A new survey has suggested only 15% of 16-24-year-olds consider phone calls the most important method of communication, according to The Guardian.

And that's why ringtones are becoming less and less common.

Because phones are predominantly left on vibrate or silent now.

A survey by the tech analyst Sensor Tower showed that the number of ringtone downloads slumped by almost a quarter in the UK between 2016 and 2020 – from 4.6m to 3.7m.

And have you ever been guilty of being a bit lazy when it comes to communicating?

Well, you're in good company...

The survey also found that 49% of teens were happy emailing, texting or instant messaging on apps such as WhatsApp with someone who was in the same room as them.
