There’s no doubt that Will Ferrell is one of the greatest comedy actors of all time. He’s starred in and produced a back catalogue of movies that’s diverse and always hilarious.
None of it would be possible, though, without some powerful collaborations with other great actors. Here are our top 5 favourite.
5.Elf - Zooey Deschanel
Elf is the Christmas film it’s okay to enjoy all year round. Of course, the story of Buddy the elf wouldn’t be complete without Jovie (Deschanel) who kind of ends up saving the day.
4. Old School –Vince Vaughn
When you hear the names “Vince Vaughn” and “Will Ferrell”, Old School is probably the first film you think of and for very good reason. Old School might be 14 years old but Frank the Tank and his naked running are still firmly etched in our minds.
3. Blades of Glory – John Heder
Often overlooked, when people are thinking of Will Ferrell movies, Blades of Glory is a modern classic. It’s stuffed with amazing one liners and ridiculous physical comedy, none of which would be possible without the epic partnership of Will Ferrell and John Heder.
2. Zoolander – Ben Stiller
Whoever decided that Ben Stiller and Will Ferrell needed to play an incredibly dumb male model and a white haired fashion guru is not getting paid enough. Their portrayal of Derek Zoolander and Mutagu is legendary.
1. Anchorman – Too many to name
Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy can probably claim the title of Most Quoted Movie In The World. And what’s more, it brought Paul Rudd, Steve Carell and Christina Applegate together with Ferrell. It also featured epic appearances from Vince Vaughn and Ben Stiller.
The New Cadbury Dairy Milk Mint Oreo- a match made in heaven!
