Fed up with tinder? Why not try ‘standing in a corner and crying softly’?
Been on more dates than you can remember? Sick of constantly swiping left? Looking for a true romantic fairytale?
Then why not try one of these one-hundred-and-twenty-nine 1950's endorsed ways to find your perfect match!
An article from a 1958 edition of an American magazine called McCall’s has been doing the internet rounds lately, and thousands of people have been basking (and laughing) at it's wisdom after a lady named Kim shared it to facebook.
The article has a load of tips and tricks for finding a husband, letting him know you exist, and snaring his undying love and affection...

Now be warned some of the tips are a tad unconventional, but very doable!
Including ‘getting lost at football games’, ‘standing in a corner and crying softly’, and ‘wearing a bandaid’.
We'll be trying all of those, obviously.

And once you've landed your match, be sure to casually point out that, 'the death rate of single men is twice that of married men', 'start a whispering campaign about how sought-after you are', and to remeber to 'clip and mail him a funny cartoon that means something to you both'.

If you mange to try all of these, let us know how you get on!
