The doctor was forced to quit his job by his wife due to a female nurse.An American medical centre has been slammed on Facebook after a photo was shared showing a surprising sign staff had put up in the reception area.
The notice informed patients that a GP had resigned from the practice because his wife didn't want him to work with a new female nurse.

"The reason he resigned is because his wife would not allow him to work here since we hired a 'female' nurse practitioner."
A photo of the sign was shared by Susan Whitsell Rolens, who was a client of Dr Lupardus.
In a Facebook post, Susan claims she told the receptionist she thought the sign was "unprofessional" and was subsequently refused treatment and asked to leave.
