Better start practicing your small talk!
There's going to be a lot of chat about the weather this winter...
Why? Well unfortunately it's because some meteorologists are predicting that this November and December will be the coldest since 2010, and perhaps even the coldest on record.
Piers Corbyn, a forecaster for WeatherAction, told the Express that "Apart from some cold snaps the first half of November is looking relatively average for the time of year with some milder periods."
"However during the second half of the month there is a greater risk of things tuning much colder and this will bring a greater threat of snow.''
Fantastic...
It's not all doom and gloom though... The odds of a white Christmas have come right down, with Paddy Power currently giving punters 5/1 odds in Dublin and 4/1 in Belfast.
Focusing on the short term however, Met Éireann have warned that tomorrow is going to be absolutely rotten.
As the chill teams up with rain for a one-two punch which will bring misery to each and every one of us.
Ah well, what can you do about it! Grab the coat and solider on...good luck!
