That's a Lidl cheeky...
SO you may have heard the news coming out of Limerick today.
In case you missed it, a JCB was driven into a McDonalds in Castletroy, County Limerick last night in a failed burglary attempt.
The potential buglers were unsuccessful in breaking into the fast food store, however sufficient damage was sustained to the entrance of the restaurant.
Naturally this story has drawn parallels with the now infamous Tallaght Lidl incident during Storm Emma. When thieves looted the supermarket, and destroyed the structure with a digger.
Unsurprisingly details of today's story did in fact catch the eye of Lidl. And, in a show of solidarity with McDonalds, the Supermarket giant thought it better tweet out a message of sympathy... Which simply read: "Hope you're okay hun x."
@McDonalds Hope you're okay hun x
