 No rest for The Notorious

Conor McGregor has called out a surprise opponent just days after his long-time partner Dee Devlin gave birth to their second child. The Notorious is already eyeing up his next pay cheque, which would see him take the same route as Floyd Mayweather.

The UFC star has just called out Japanese fighter Tenshin Nasukawa for a clash in Tokyo. McGregor said on Twitter: "I wish to go to Tokyo to face Tenshin Nasukawa in a Mixed Martial Arts exhibition bout. Before this summer. Please arrange this, this instant. Yours sincerely The champ champ."

Floyd Mayweather went up against Nasukawa earlier this month, knocking him down three times inside on round before the referee stopped it. The American earned almost €10 million from his single round bout, no doubt McGregor is eyeing up a similar pay day.

The Dublin couple who have welcomed a baby girl on this week and the name chosen by the happy parents is rumoured to be Croia, a Gaelic name which may mean 'of the heart' or 'little heart'.
